SunBriteTV’s New 46-inch LCD Safe in Temps from -24 to 122 Degrees
The company says its 4610HD model, featuring Full HD 1080p resolution, has cooling and heating that keeps it working in extreme climates.
February 25, 2008 | by Arlen Schweiger

When SunBriteTV talks about how it manufactures all-weather TVs, it isn’t kidding around. Even if you live toward the northern parts of the U.S., you could incorporate a SunBrite in an outdoor installation even in extreme conditions.

SunBrite’s latest model is a 46-inch 1080p LCD. The TV’s airflow system keeps the set cool in temperatures up to 122 degrees, the company says.

On the other end of the spectrum, an internal thermostatically controlled heater triggers automatically when the TV’s internal temperature falls below 32 degrees, and by allowing a 20-degree temperature rise the set can safely stay outdoors in weather as low as -24 degrees, SunBrite says.

Even if you’re not in an extreme climate, SunBrite’s 4610HD can boost your outdoor area viewing, as it has an anti-reflective, impact and scratch-resistant window, along with cable entry and operating controls that are moisture-resistant.

There’s a water-resistant remote control included, while optional accessories include articulating and non-articulating wall mounts, table stand and deck/planter pole mount.

SunBrite’s 46-inch 4610HD will be available in March through the company’s dealer network for an SRP of $5,495. Read the entire press release here.
