Having an HDTV in your backyard is enticing when it comes to entertaining or summer lounging. However, what’s the use in having the TV be weatherproof if your other AV essentials are not?
Instead of running wires for all of those various components inside, SunBriteTV is making it easy to get entertainment to the great outdoors. The company just started shipping the SunBriteTV Wireless HD Transceiver (SB-HDWT), a universal outdoor transmitter module.
The SB-HDWT makes wireless HD possible and completely weatherproof. No hardwiring is needed. Instead, this compact device can transmit full 1080p HD content to any SunBriteTV within 150 feet via an HDMI-in and HDMI-out transceiver.
“Consumers have anxiety regarding wiring and connectivity,” said Tom Dixon, SunBriteTV’s VP of marketing. “The Wireless HD Transceiver makes it easy and painless for both homeowners and professional installers to send a high-definition signal to an outdoor TV—anywhere in the backyard living space.”
The SB-HDWT is compatible with all SunBriteTV models, as well as other HDMI-featured products. It’s selling now through SunBriteTV’s authorized dealer network, with an MSRP of $595.
