Speco Technologies has introduced a new line of high-end outdoor speakers — the All Weather Extreme (AWX) Series.

The AWX Series offers 5.25- (SP5AWX) and 6.5-inch (SP6AWXT) speakers that are designed for indoor, outdoor, commercial and residential environments.

The speakers (8 Ohm and 70V) are UV and water resistant, are made of fiberglass-filled ABS plastic, and have a mounting swing base.

“We have made a very concentrated effort this year to launch one of the best indoor/outdoor speaker lines in the industry,” says Scott Pisani, Speco’s audio product manager.

Speco was pretty quiet about additional information, adding that the speakers are “coming soon.”

AWX Speakers will be sold in pairs and are available in black or white finishes. Stay tuned for pricing.
