SoundTech Professional Audio cables
SoundTech Professional Audio, a division of US Music Corporation, announced a full line of LightSnake-powered computer accessory cables to allow consumers to connect printers, iPods and other MP3 players, digital cameras and more.
The cables feature the company’s “Live When Lit” technology, which makes them glow when properly connected and flash when data is being transmitted to help the user take the guesswork out of setting up USB-connected computer accessories and peripherals, SoundTech says.
The LightSnake-powered cables offer rugged construction with high-performance 28/24-gauge wire and gold-plated copper contacts for maximum conductivity. Additionally, the cables have molded strain relief and PVC over molding to ensure long-lasting, error-free data transmission, the company says.
SoundTech’s cable line includes:
USB-A to USB-B high-speed cable
USB-A to USB-A high-speed cable
USB-A to USB 5-pin mini-B high-speed cable
USB-A to USB-A high-speed extension cable, which extends the connection of keyboards, digital cameras, speakers and joysticks
USB-A to iPod dock cable, which is compatible with all click-wheel iPod models, iPod photo and iPod mini
The SoundTech LightSnake line of computer cables will be available online and at major music retail outlets in Q1 2007 with an MSRP of $49.99. For more information, visit www.soundtech.com.
