In case your Star Wars PSP needs some company, Sony has announced another special edition of the handheld. The new metallic blue model celebrates everything that is good about Madden.

Of course they are celebrating. That football franchise has generated an insane amount of money for the gaming industry.

We’re doing a victory dance because the entire package will run about $200. Wired says it will also include the latest incarnation of the game (for PSP, of course), a PlayStation Network voucher, a 1GB flash drive, and a UMD titled NFL: In Just One Play.

The color is nice, but for a “special” edition, shouldn’t it come adorned with Madden’s mug (that’s not such a loss) or even in the shape of a football or something?
