We can barely stand this winter cold. However, Sonance is thinking (and shipping) some very warm thoughts. The company just announced availability of its Sonance 70V Landscape Series System.

The Sonance Landscape Series made its big debut at 2010’s CEDIA Expo. The 70V product consists of two-way satellite speakers and an in-ground subwoofer, which can withstand extreme conditions in all four seasons. The key is the long-life UV-stable material used to create each product.

The two-way speakers are the LS67SAT and LS47SAT, which each have 0.75-inch integrated tweeters and power handling up to 25 watts (@ 70 volts). The LS67SAT has a 6-inch woofer, with the LS47SAT including a 3.5-inch woofer.

If you want to add a bit of bass to the great outdoors, the LS10SUB in-ground subwoofer features a 10-inch woofer and 100 watts of power handline (@ 70 volts). If you don’t want to bury the bass, it can be left exposed and make it through these brutal winter blasts or the summer swelter. A brown canopy is also included, to help the sub blend into your surroundings.

Sonance also has a variety of outdoor mounting accessories available, including tree mounts, surface mounts and ground stakes. All feature 3/4-inch NEC threading.

The LS47SAT satellite speaker has an MSRP of $380 each, with the LS67SAT coming in at $720 each. The subwoofer sells for $2,500. All three products are available now. Sonance is also offering three Crown amplifiers: the CDi 4000, CDi 2000 and CDi 1000. Each amp comes preloaded with the Sonance SLSEQ, featuring 16 customized EQs designed for the Sonance Landscape Series speakers.
