Smarthome Launches New SkylinkHome Control Kits
A total of 11 kits are now available to easily add automation into the home.

Smarthome is making it a little easier to add control around the home. Even better, the company’s SkylinkHome line is also very affordable.

The company just announced two new additions to the SkylinkHome family. In case you aren’t counting, there are now a total of 11 kits, as well as a la carte options. SkylinkHome uses radio frequency (RF) signals to control items around the house, such as wall dimmers, remotes, motion sensors and plug-in modules.

The latest in the line is the SkylinkHome SK-4 Wireless Remote Lighting, Garage Kit ($97.97) and the SkylinkHome SK-5 Wireless Remote Lighting, Family Kit ($96.97).

That SkylinkHome SK-4 Wireless Remote Lighting, Garage Kit includes one transmitter and one receiver, as well as two dimmers and one switch. The kit is designed to control lighting and even a garage door, up to 500 feet away. It’s a great starter package, as well as an easy way to add a little extra control around the house. The SkylinkHome SK-5 Wireless Remote Lighting Kit (pictured) is another option, and includes three dimmers and two handheld wireless remotes.
