The newly introduced Slingbox 500 and Slingbox 350 provide homeowners access to all of their broadcast media throughout their homes and across the globe. Both products are able to deliver 1080p streaming of TV shows, sports, recorded programs and premium content channels to tablets, smartphones and computers.

The Foster City, Calif.-based company says the Slingbox 500 and Slingbox 350 products enable homeowners to manage and use their content in a way that fits their lifestyles, which includes travel. The Slingbox 500 brings to market the added flexibility of options such as wireless Wi-Fi connectivity and HDMI. In addition, the product also offers the company’s SlingProjector technology which allows users to display personal media such as photos on their TV screens. Sling Media supports the hardware with software for the Apple iOS, Android, Windows phone, and PC and Mac operating systems.
