Next time you’re rocking out to “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” you’d be that much more metal if you were rocking in Skullcandy’s Metallica headphones.

The company just announced this tie-in to pump you up for the band’s ninth studio release, “Death Magnetic.”

“Releasing Death Magnetic is another milestone for us, as is our collaboration with Skullcandy for the Metallica headphones,” said Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo. “This is a great opportunity for us to give our fans a new way of listening to our music.”

For a band that was all high and mighty during the early days of Napster, it’s kind of surprising that they’d considering slapping their names on this ugly set something “new.” Gizmodo stole all of the other hilarious lines. Otherwise, the photo pretty much speaks for itself.

If you are indeed the “Master of Puppets” or a serious fan, sorry—there’s no word on when or how much you will have to pay to bang your head (or headphones) in these babies. However, “Death Magnetic” came out last week, so it’s ready to rock you right now.
