Finally an iPod dock that you can use—besides as an iPod dock, anyway. The Griffin Simplifi is quite the multitasker, combining an iPod dock with a media card reader and a USB hub.

The unit is compatible with Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, SD, xD and CF cards. The hub isn’t anything massive, but should clear up some clutter with its two ports. Griffin also says the unit can charge and sync many iPod models, as well as the iPhone.

Wired says the unit even has a USB adapter, which means it charges right through your computer. We’d like to thank Griffin for some of that desk space back. We need it for pens, papers, and the occasional beverage.

The Griffin Simplifi is available now for $70. The Griffin site provides info on dealers, or you can just order one direct.
