If you want to be one of the lucky few to get one, and have $100,000 to spare, Sim2’s newest video projector, on display for the first time last week at the Consumer Electronics Show, will be available later this year from Sim2 Premiere Dealers. Called the LUMIS Fuoriserie, a term used to describe a custom-built, high-performance, exclusive and expensive car, the projector features advanced design and technology to create a killer picture.
According to the company, just 30 units will be available worldwide. The unit at the show was a prototype. One distinguishing characteristic will be an upgraded lamp to produce ultra bright images. The lamp is extremely flexible, as well, able to be dimmed to a low setting if necessary, and making it ideal for a variety of viewing conditions. It will be customized at the factor for each home theater’s particular screen size and the lens type incorporated specifically for the projection distance. It will come with a 3 year warranty and VIP service.
