Dayton DIY will be held July 11-12
If you’re a DIY A/V enthusiast, you might want to book some of your summer vacation in Ohio. Dayton DIY will be a showcase for loudspeaker builders, and also include workshops, product sales and contests on July 11-12.
The event is co-sponsored by Parts Express and Dayton Audio, and actually takes place in Springboro, OH (just south of Dayton).
Dayton DIY starts with a kick-off party and contest registration on Friday, July 11 from 6-9 p.m., followed by speaker competition all day Saturday.
For the speaker building contest, one category is for models built exclusively using Dayton Audio drivers, and another “open” category that has products constructed of greater than $200 per pair, and those less than $200 per pair using any driver brands.
Also on Saturday, Parts Express is hosting a huge warehouse tent sale where enthusiasts will be able to scoop up plenty of good deals on audio and video products. There will even be free hot dogs!
Check the website for more info and pre-registration.
