Leave it to Sharper Image to create outdoor speakers that look so cool that you want curl them up and shelter them from the outside elements.

The Wireless Outdoor Monophonic One-Speaker System uses 2.4GHz signals, so you shouldn’t have to worry about any interference with other household gadgets. You also don’t have to worry about it interfering with your walking around the house; it’s wireless, so you can place it anywhere without the unit getting in the way or wiring tripping you up.

Even better, it works with iPods, MP3 players, and any other audio source that has a headphone jack. Coolest Gadgets says that an auxiliary speaker can be added to make the whole setup stereo.

The first speaker will cost you $199.95; the extra is another $100.
