We look for a lot of things in our AV equipment. When it comes to projectors, Sharp is setting its XV-Z30000 apart from others by adding in Control4 compatibility.
Sharp just announced that the XV-Z30000 is now Control4 Certified. That basically means that it has passed all sort of tests, making sure it integrates properly with Control4 home automation systems.
Of course, it’s a nice video solution as well. The XV-Z30000 is a DLP projector that supports 2D and 3D content, with a full 1080p image, a 50,000:1 contrast ratio and 1600 ANSI lumens of brightness. It also has Sharp’s own digital image ICs, which boast high-quality 3D pictures with low cross talk and flicker.
“Control4 has long held the view that in order to drive home automation adoption, then everything in the home must work together,” said Jim Arnold, SVP of sales at Control4. “Control4 Certified products improve the operation of home theaters, multi-room music, lighting, temperature control, energy management, and security by improving both compatibility and functionality before installation. We are pleased to add Sharp to our esteemed list of partner brands.”
According to Sharp, the XV-X30000 is selling now, with a list price of $4,499.99.
