Blu-ray has made its way into a lot more living rooms this year. Next year, it may go into your bedroom, basement, or other area. Sharp announced that it will release a pair of LCD/Blu-ray combos next month.

While the 32- and 42-inch units would look great in any living room, we’re guessing people might want the combo for another area of the house. Wired says that the 42-inch model is expected to have a full 1080p resolution and 120Hz frame-rate processing. Expect to see a price tag somewhere in the $2,000 range. There’s no word on what’s going on with the smaller size.

Back in October, we heard that Sharp was planning to release the combo in 16 sizes. There’s no word on whether or not any of those sizes will come to the U.S. market. However, these two are expected to debut at the Consumer Electronics Show next month.
