Sharp is offering free Blu-ray players with the purchase of select AQUOS TVs.
We were just talking up B&H’s offer to sell you a Sharp HDTV/Blu-ray bundle. Well it looks as though Sharp is spreading the love, and offering a free Blu-ray player to anyone that buys a new AQUOS TV.
Before you speed off in your car, know there are some limitations. First of all, there are certain TVs you need to buy (see below). Second, the free Blu-ray player is the BD-HP21U. If you don’t want that one, they are also offering $300 off the BD-HP50U. Amazon is selling that unit now for under the $300 mark—which sounds like free to us.
Still, both units have profile 1.1 features, JPEG viewing, and Sharp’s own AQUOS LINK. The BD-HP50U also supports RS-232C control.
The offer is good while supplies last or until January 31, 2009—whichever comes first. The promotion is combined with the purchase of any of the following AQUOS models:
Editor’s Note: According to Sharp, this discount is given directly at the point of purchase. Participating retailers include: Best Buy, Sears, Sixth Avenue Electronics, Brandsmart, ABC Warehouse, hh gregg, Ultimate, ABT, Vanns and PC Richards.
