Who says size matters? Not Sharp. Instead of delivering the biggest screen, they are putting some of their AQUOS efforts into the 19-inch LC-19D44U.

My bedroom thanks you, and so does my husband. Because as much as both love having TV, some of those big screens can be blinding when I’m trying to clear my TiVo content at 1:00 a.m.

It’s still got the 16:9 aspect ratio, built-in ATSC/NTSC tuners, HDMI support, a 1366 x 768 resolution, and bottom-firing speakers.

And even though this thing is perfect for the kitchen, an office or any other small space, I am guessing that they not only had my bedroom, but my scattered brain in mind. That can be the only explanation for the magnetic remote, which affixes to any metal surface—including the stand—when not in use. No more searching the couch cushions!

If you’ve ever seen an AQUOS, you’d know that the $649 price tag is a good deal. Pick a room (or two) and start filling them with TV this October.
