In the middle of work (or “World of Warcraft”), an error message keeps peeking out of the bottom corner of your screen. It doesn’t seem to bother anything, except your mental state. However, do you feel like flipping $100 (or more) just to talk to a tech guy?

Maybe you don’t have to. DST has just launched a discount tech support service, called PC Fixer. Download the software, follow the on-screen wizard, and the service should be able to identify any problems—as well as repair some common computer issues.

In case you want to tinker, DST also has a big, searchable database, where you can find how-tos, manuals, articles, and other guides. There’s also a community support section, where users might be able to help solve your problems as well.

The price of such service? DST asks $19.99 per incident. All of the forums, databases and even Reg Repair, a registry cleaner utility, is all on the site for free use.
