LG’s BH200 Super Blu player supports HD DVD and Blu-ray

Two high-definition DVD formats might not be better than one, but in this case, at least you get them both in one device. LG Electronics announced today that its second-generation Super Blu player (BH200) is now available from leading retailers for $999.

You can watch your HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc movies on the player, which is the new and improved version of LG’s original BH100 that was the first on the market to offer both formats as a dual player.

The second-gen Super Blu includes the BD Standard Profile and is ready for BD Profile 1.1 when Blu-ray discs with such features become available in 2008. For HD DVD, among the features is the web-connected interactivity that’s currently available on many of those discs.

Qdeo video processing from Marvell aids in the image quality, which supports Full HD 1080p; Super Blu will also upscale your standard DVDs to that resolution as well.

No more need to worry if your stocking is stuffed with both HD DVDs and Blu-ray discs.

NOBODY is selling it ! Hey LG, how about letting it HIT STORE SHELVES before you announce that’s it’s available ON STORE SHELVES! Do you remember “Goldstar” electronics? That’s what LG is=Lucky Goldstar is the Korean name for this company. So everybody know’s Goldstar is garbage, right? So what do they do? Rebadge themselves as LG! But you know what? STILL CRAP!
