It seems to be Thunderdome regarding this year’s post-Thanksgiving sales. Is there no sanctity in the calendar anymore? A lot of people seem to be cheating, when it comes to Black Friday—and we love it.
First, Amazon decided to make Black Friday a week-long event. Now Sears says it will kick off its holiday pricing promotions starting Thursday. Of course, you won’t have to leave that last drumstick behind. However, you should at least wipe your greasy mitts because the sales prices will be offered to online shoppers first.
The retailer sent out an email this morning stating that sale prices will be offered on the web starting Thursday, November 27. We are not entirely sure what time the pricing will kick in, but the online deals will only be offered until midnight. After all, they have to guarantee that someone will show up at the stores.
Also, if you have a lot of purchases, don’t expect them to even out over shipping costs. Purchases over $99 will qualify for free shipping.
Not sure what you want? Sears says it will offer a sneak peek of its sale items starting 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
