Screen Research’s new Supreme 2 (a tad larger than the photo example) feature FastGrip installation
French screen manufacturer Screen Research is out with a sweet model it’s dubbed “Supreme 2”—with its supremely easy installation and good looks we can see why.
The fixed frame screen is available with Screen Research’s patented THX- and ISF-certified ClearPix2 screen fabrics and the ISF-certified SolidPix fabrics, and you’ll be able to get them in a range of sizes to fill your theater wall.
The “supreme” velour finish aids in the projection image’s perceived contrast, really making it pop off the screen, and works with your projector’s overscan.
With the acoustically transparent ClearPix models, you’ll be able to place the front channel speakers behind the screen for even greater audio realism during your movie screenings, too.
The Supreme2 is literally a snap to install—it’s highlighted by Screen Research’s FastGrip technology for attaching the fabric to the rigid frame. Two types of wall brackets come with the screen, which is ready to install out of the box. With the FastGrip, the screens snap to the frame and into place.
With the ClearPix models, there’s also an auto-tensioning FastGrip StopLight black backing attachment system that allows the backing to be mounted to the same FastGrip structure via a floating fastener system to rid unwanted reflected light.
Check out the video below for an example of the system, and check with your local Screen Research dealer for more on the new screen.
