A big beautiful projection screen rarely disappoints. However, the new Screen Innovations (SI) Reference Motorized G3 screen has a little surprise inside: a Somfy motor.
That little gem promises a super-quiet operation. It also has a tab tensioning system, which keeps the screen smooth and free of marks and wrinkles.
SI says that this setup doesn’t need an independent flush mount chassis. This design allows installers to add flush mount plates at the bottom or add the decor plate for external installation. Whether it’s an in-ceiling, on-ceiling or on-wall install, the price is still the same (you’ll still need to call a dealer/installer for that info, though).
The SI Reference Motorized G3 can be easily integrated into almost any control setup. Controls in the box include a 12-volt trigger, an IR remote/receiving eye, and wall switch. RS-232/485 and RF are also available.
Available in sizes up to 200 inches with every type of SI HD screen material imaginable, the SI Reference Motorized G3 will start selling on May 1st 2011.
