Screen Dreams’ HD imagery will be streaming to Sharp Aquos Net connected TVs

Chances are, your big flat-panel TV has become the focal point of your favorite living space in your home. If you’re entertaining, or maybe just want a quiet evening with some pleasant background noise, you may not want a TV station or movie on the screen.

If you don’t have the TV already concealed with the handful of motorized artwork products on the market, you can turn the screen itself into something more aesthetically appealing. Screen Dreams has had its DVD set of “Living” series on the market for a while now, but soon it will be streaming directly to your high-def TV, provided (for now) it’s a Sharp Aquos Net variety.

The company announced it will start streaming to such TVs in April, beginning with its “Living Earth” collection of forests, lakes, mountains and other great nature scenes. They’ll be streaming in full 1080p imagery so your screensaver can jazz up the decor for any dinner party.

You’ll be able to easily access the screensavers like other widgets on the Sharp Aquos Net TVs. The service will begin with the Living Earth, but we’re guessing others already available on DVD could follow. Other Screen Dreams DVD offerings include:

  • Living Holidays
  • Living Aquarium
  • Living Aquarium Vol. 2
  • Living Waterfalls
  • Living Beaches
  • Living Butterflies
  • Living Fireplace

If none of those are your cup of tea, you can also write to the company and suggest the next theme, and perhaps you’ll get your wish.
