Who goes there? The door can be a scary adventure. It’s not always someone bearing gifts. Predators, neighbors and even in-laws could lie ahead. Wouldn’t you like to know?
Swann Security is making it easy to get a sneak peek at the other side of the door, via its new Doorphone 870. The Doorphone 870 is a combo intercom and camera, all of which can add a little security element to your front door.
Attach the Doorphone to your door and it can deliver a nice 60-degree peek without having to open the door, all via a 3.5-inch LCD color screen. Other features include two-way communication, a rechargeable battery, and a black matte finish. It even work in low-light conditions, up to 13 feet.
“The demand for video doorbell systems has been overwhelming from both consumers and retailers,” said Jeremy Stewart, Swann’s VP of global marketing. “The feature set and price point give a user peace of mind, making the Doorphone 870 the perfect monitoring solution for home or business owners.”
Swann has packaged the Doorphone 870 with mounting brackets, screws and hardware, operating instructions, and four theft-deterrent stickers. It’s selling now, with an MSRP of $149.99.
