Savant has been selling its Apple-based home automation system for quite some time. However, now they are delivering true Mac access with TrueControl.

TrueControl is a new app designed for the Mac. The software will allow users of the Savant SmartSystems access to the system right from the desktop of a Mac OS X computer.

If you’re at all familiar with Savant’s existing iOS apps, this one should look very familiar. From the desktop interface, users can tap into lighting, temperature, audio and video, security, and more.

Designed to work with Apple devices, such as the MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iMac, the Savant TrueControl app for Mac is available now. Savant users can find it at the Mac App Store, for $99.
