At first glance, the Sanus VisionMount VMA301 can be kind of confusing. We get TV mounts and get iPad mounts. However, why would you want to combine the two? To create a very cool, very hands-free experience, of course.
Also, know that the new VMA301 mount doesn’t accommodate the mount that you have holding that 65-inch HDTV. Instead, it works with any TV wall mount that’s VESA 100 x 100 compatible. That makes for a nice iPad experience in the kitchen, office, or anywhere else you may need both hands.
However, instead of just attaching the iPad to a wall, the VMA301 offers up an alternative option, as well as a Virtual Axis 3D cup-shaped faceplate. That allows for 360 degrees of motion in both landscape and portrait viewing angles.
When you want to switch rooms, the VMA301 has a release tab for quick, safe removal. No tools are required, and no scratches are made.
Sanus is currently selling the VisionMount VMA301 iPad Mount Adapter for $24.99. If you want a quick peek on how it works, check out the brief walkthrough below.
