With a growing AV collection, your rack could use a little girth. Sanus just announced that they are now shipping the super-sturdy Foundations CFR144 AV rack.

Boasting up to 44U of space, the new rack is specifically designed for custom AV component installations.

The CFR144 stands 85 inches tall and can fit five 1U shelves and eight 2U blanking panels. It can also hold about 1,000 pounds of AV goodies.

Other features include a three-section back panel with wire management and removable panels, a lockable tempered-glass door, and a convection cooling system. It also has a removable side for access to both components and wiring.

Sanus has the CFR144 listed for $1,499.99. Additional accessories are also available.
