All racks are not created equal. Sanus Systems is pushing ahead of the pack, debuting the second generation of the company’s Component 2100 Series AV Racks.

Sanus says that the new series will come pre-loaded with everything that you need. Of course, don’t expect a beer or wine dispenser—although they can be customized, too. That said, the CFR2115, CFR2127, CFR2136 and CFR2144 all have new features, including side and back quick-release panels for easy access to components and additional cooling vents at the top and bottom of the racks for more efficient temperature management.

All of these pre-assembled units has vented shelves and blanking panels to simplify ordering and installation. There’s also a lockable tempered glass front door, which can be placed to the left or right, as well as multiple 3U removable panels.

Each of the new models represents four sizes (15U, 27U, 36U and 44U). Sanus says that each one is shipping now, with list prices ranging from $579.99 to $1,499.99.
