There’s tons of super-cool video on the web. The only thing I am not fond of? Watching it on my PC. Manufacturers can put all of the neat-o functions they want into my computer; it just doesn’t match the big-screen/couch combo that my A/V setup provides.

The one thing they could do is play nicer. Instead of wiring and unwiring various products, CrunchGear says that Buy.com has info about the SanDisk Sansa TakeTV, a product that allows you to drag and drop video onto an 8GB USB flash drive, then plug it into your TV. Boom. Was that so hard?

One thing that is hard—buying the actual product. There’s no pricing, no pre-orders, no nothing. Just a big tease-of-a-product-page.

An even bigger tease: If you’ve got a Mac, don’t bother looking for more info. Apparently, it doesn’t like you. Designed for Vista and XP only, other features include DivX, xVid, and MPEG-4 support.
