Wonder why so many flights are late? They are waiting on the A/V geeks that are drooling over Samsung’s SyncMaster 820DXn.
This 82-inch display is designed for airports, malls and other digital signage and corporate gigs, but we deem it more than worthy of anyone’s living room space—if you have space for this big boy.
The main hook is a built-in computer, which would mean we’d never have to miss a minute of “American Idol” to voice our disgust over the Internet. Specs on that little nugget includes an AMD Athlon64 X2 3400+, 1.8 GHz dual core processor, 4GB of flash storage memory, 512 MB DDR2 RAM, an ATI chipset and a Win XPe operating system.
Other features include a new Digital Information Display (DID) panel designed to lower the temperature of the display, built-in fans for the PC, a 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution, and a 178/178-degree viewing angle.
The SyncMaster 820DXn is available now for a cool $76,999.
