Samsung just announced a slew of home-theater-in-a-box solutions. The one that looks most punt-able is the X710 Series.
Of course, we wouldn’t suggest that you kick, toss or try any other shenanigans with this system on Super Bowl or any other Sunday, but the option is there if the alcohol is. Bottom line: While we’re sure that the system would sound great in almost any environment, it’s the design that’s going to sell people (and systems).
Other features include 5.8GHz wireless speakers, Bluetooth support, HDMI-CEC and 1080p upconversion.
Two models will be available in May: the 2.1-channel HT-X710 and the 5.1 HT-X715.
