Samson’s StudioDock 3i also includes volum controls, a headphone jack, and a auxiliary stereo input on the front.
Hey Rocky, watch me pull an iPod dock out of my hat… Again?
That wasn’t exactly part of Bullwinkle’s routine, but these days, it seems to be a lot easier than scoring a rabbit. The latest to throw their hat into the iPod accessory ring is Samson, with its StudioDock 3i USB Studio Monitors.
It’s got the iPod dock, which charges and plays your portable. However, one thing that does make this product to stand out is a USB interface, which allows you to sync it with an iTunes library. Boasting a 30-watt internal amp, other features include a 3-inch magnetically shielded, inverted cone, copolymer woofer with butyl surround and a 25mm silk dome high frequency driver.
“StudioDock is a complete solution that will make the consumer’s relationship with their music more convenient,” says Mark Wilder, Samson’s director of marketing.
Samson’s StudioDock 3i is available now for $149 per pair.
