We can’t all send enough power to our speakers to rock the house as though Eddie Van Halen was shredding in our living rooms. For those needing a lower-power speaker system that’s still highly efficient, Russound is now shipping its Radio speaker line of four models to fill that role.
The line includes three in-ceiling models and an in-wall speaker for use with low-powered electronics and systems that employ amplified volume controls. Here’s the rundown: the in-ceiling RC61 (MAP $150/pair) has a 6.5-inch woofer with a .5-inch tweeter for great room coverage and broad frequency response; the in-ceiling RC61S (MAP $125 each) also features a 6.5-inch woofer with a pair of .5-inch tweeters and is designed for single-point stereo applications.
The RC81 (MAP $187.50/pair) is also for in-ceiling installations, in a compact, 8-inch form factor; and the in-wall RW691 (MAP $200/pair) rounds out the line with a 6 x 9-inch configuration for efficient performance.
Your ceilings will appreciate the makeover, too.
