Russound, the maker of multiroom home audio products like the DMS-3.1 Digital Media Streamer, has released an update for the C-Series products that brings more function to the devices.
Release 7, as it’s being called, applies to the TS3 Color Touchscreen, the MCA-C3/C5 Multizone Controller Amplifier, MDK-C5/C6 Multiline Display Keypad, My Russound App MRA-3, and the Digital Media Streamer mentioned previously. The new release adds Pandora and TuneIn to the systems as well as the ability to operate AirPlay devices from a C-Series interface.
Another benefit of the upgrade is that users can have their Digital Media Streamer integrated with other control systems including Control4, Key Digital and RTI.
The new software also allows the installer to update system keypads remotely over the internet, which will save the installer from having to drive to your home for simple updates.
