Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) recently shipped its T2x handheld remote. Now, they want to give you a little something for the wall. RTI just announced that the new KX2 in-wall controller is also now available.
The KX2 has everything you’d want in a touchscreen, including a 2.8-inch QVGA color LCD display, a customizable interface and hard buttons. Engraving and multiple bezel options are also available.
RTI has also added a ton of connectivity options into the KX2, including direct IR control, integrated Ethernet with Power over Ethernet (PoE), and two-way control (when combined with an RTI control system).
Other features include an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, and the option for modules/processors for voltage sensing, relays and advanced two-way control.
“We are extremely happy to release the KX2. We believe that integrators and consumers alike will be pleased with the value and performance offered with this new controller,” said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. “For end users, the KX2’s design, color touchscreen, two-way control capabilities, and affordable price point make it a very attractive option. For installers, it’s simple to customize the GUI and hard buttons to match the needs of their customers, providing the flexibility to incorporate the KX2 into any installation.”
There’s no word on the KX2’s MSRP, but RTI is promising a “high-end control device at an affordable price point.” It’s shipping now, so you can contact your RTI dealer for more information.
