Why bother to have home control if you can’t access it everywhere? Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) wants to put that access into other areas of the home, so the company started shipping the CX7 Wired Controller.
The CX7 can to put control over AV, security, temperature and more into spaces like the kitchen. It can be mounted securely on the countertop, but also nestles quite nicely under a cabinet.
Designed for hardwired installations, the CX7 has a 7-inch 800-by-480 WVGA LCD touchscreen with an adjustable tilt, as well as analog audio and video inputs, stereo speakers, wired and wireless Ethernet, proximity and ambient light sensors, and more.
RTI made the CX7 to be paired with one of the company’s control systems. Other features include two-way control and feedback, access to web pages, and a built-in camera and microphone for future intercom capabilities.
