Here’s one decoration that you won’t mind leaving up year-round: RTI’s RK10. The company just announced that the in-wall controller is now shipping.
Designed for living and working spaces, this product features a 10.2-inch TFT widescreen LCD touchscreen and Intel’s Atom processor. The flagship product promises control, as well as web browsing, camera monitoring, and more. It packs all of the power of a PC inside an intuitive touchscreen controller.
Using RTI’s own Integration Designer software, the RK10 can be fully customized with buttons, text, and other graphics. Other features include built-in wired and wireless (802.11 b/g) web access, two-way communication with RTI XP series control processors, access to PC music, and much more.
The RK10 is selling now via authorized RTI dealers and installers. Available in black or white, with a low-profile faceplate, the RK10 carries an MSRP of $3,499.
