RTI doesn’t announce new products—they go for a whole solution.
Adding the new T2-B Universal Controller wasn’t enough; they got a bit product happy and decided to also add the ZRP-6 Remote Control Processor, the CPB-1 Control Port Connecting Block, the PCM-8 Port Control Module, and CB-8 the Touchpanel Connecting Block into their lineup.
The T2-B has an easy-to-read touchscreen combined with the hard buttons you’re already addicted to. The hook, however, is a 3-way rocker switch, which allows for navigation of on-screen guides and music.
RTI has also updated its RP-6 control processor, resulting in the ZRP-6. It has a better configuration of control ports, support for wiring separate RTI ZigBee transceivers, sense inputs, voltage trigger outputs and dedicated RS-232.
The PCM-8 Port Control Module adds eight processor ports, and the CB-8 Touchpanel Connecting Block provides power and routing control for up to eight RTI devices.
RTI did not announce pricing for any of the new additions, but your local RTI dealer should have that info, as well as the goods, now.
