Samsung’s S2 Pebble MP3 players
Here’s one pebble you won’t want to skip across the pond. The size of Samsung’s new MP3 player is vividly noted in its name, the S2 “Pebble” MP3 player.
About the size of a silver dollar, the Pebble has the looks of a slick, round, polished stone—don’t let your kids drop it in the yard—and it’s available in five colors (black, white, red, green and purple). OK, you might be able to pick out the purple one in a rock pile.
Samsung’s DNSe technology gives a boost to the audio quality on the up-to-240 songs this little device can store, and you can hear the playlist in sequence or shuffle it up.
There’s a necklace integrated earphone for convenient wear, and Samsung says the tactile keys let you control the player even if it’s inside your pocket.
USB access makes loading files a snap, and the $39 price tag is pretty snappy itself.
