The Roomba took over the job of vacuuming the floor for many households. Now there’s a robotic device that can clean your windows—both inside and out. And all you do is apply the cleaning pad and cleaning solution to the device.

The Winbot from Ecovacs Robotics (will debut on Jan. 8, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. A prototype of the product was shown at last year’s show, and based on attendee response, Ecovacs decided to officially launch it this year as a commercially available product.

Winbot is designed to clean windows both inside and outside, and works by moving in a zig zag pattern across the surface. You prepare the glass for cleaning by applying suction pads to the bottom of the Winbot then spraying the pads with a cleaning solution. The pads moisten the glass, a squeegee gleans it another pad dries it. When the glass is clean, Winbot returns to its original starting position.

Ecovacs says a single battery charge is enough to clean both sides of a window. It is expected to sell for between $300 and $400. Ecovacs also offers robotic vacuum cleaners (Deebot) and robotic air cleaners (Atmobot).
