Denver, CO - Richard Gray’s Power Company (RGPC) introduces the PowerLink 3G in-wall extension kit, which enables installers to bring RGPC-conditioned power to up to three wall-mounted displays or other non-rack equipment. PowerLink 3G solves the relatively straightforward but often highly frustrating problem of how to bring quality, surge protected power to components that are hard to reach with traditional AC power cords. 

While RGPC’s original PowerLink provided a single outlet, PowerLink 3G provides a three-gang configuration that allows installers to provide on-demand, conditioned power to three remote locations, all of which are then wired to one panel by the rack.  When considering the alternative of having three separate, single-gang face plates, installers will enjoy the convenience furnished by RGPC PowerLink 3G, while end users will appreciate much cleaner-looking installations. 

Installation of PowerLink 3G is extremely simple and safe because no “live connection” to the breaker box is required. The kit’s recessed “inlet” is placed near the RGPC 400S, 600S, 1200S or PowerHouse parallel inductor unit and connected via a supplied 12-AWG male to female power cord. The “inlet” is then wired to the recessed outlet in which the wall-mounted display or other remotely located device will be plugged using standard 10-12-AWG Romex. The wall-mounted display then will receive the full benefit of the RGPC-patented parallel Power Delivery System.

“While still adhering to the National Electrical Code®, installers have been forced to invent creative ways to wire their customers’ wall-mounted displays to our power delivery units,” said RGPC President Rick Komendera. “PowerLink 3G relieves installers of the need to develop these workarounds by providing an electrically safe and compliant method to extend our power protection to up to three remote devices. The PowerLink 3G kit can be used to bring power to all types of wall-mounted display devices, ceiling-mounted projectors and motorized screens. PowerLink 3G, available to dealers and installers direct from Richard Gray’s Power Company, has an MSRP of $550.
