Revel just turned up the loudness of its Concerta Series. The company added a big bang to the lineup with the addition of the new B120 Powered Subwoofer.

This thumping box will add some complementary low end to the whole line of Concerta Series speakers such as the M8, M10, C10 and LCR 8 on-wall speakers.

The B120 includes a long-excursion 12-inch woofer and large ceramic magnet motor system with a 2-inch diameter copper voice coil. An integrated 250-watt RMS amplifier provides the juice, and with an optional TX1 wireless transmitter connected to your entertainment system you can put the B120 pretty much anywhere in your room as long as it’s within reach of an AC outlet.

Revel’s B120 box is made from rigid MDF and extensive internal bracing, the company says, to limit colorations. You can place it against a wall or cabinet thanks to the downward-firing port, and rubber-padded feet provide stability on any surface.

Dimensions measure 17.75 by 15.75 by 14 inches, including the feet and grill, and a solid 51 pounds. For aesthetics, you can grab it in black, silver or cherry finishes.
