Instead of hogging all of that digital music to yourself, ReQuest wants you to share it with the whole house. It’s nothing new for Windows users, but the company just announced the same convenience for the Mac.
NetSync for iTunes Macintosh will work with all of ReQuest’s servers that have Serious Play software installed (version 4.6.2 or later). The new software will sync the server with multiple iTunes accounts, iPods or iPhones. From there, you can use iTunes to manage your whole-house music collection, as well as create playlists and sync changes. Of course, it also allows all of that digital goodness to be enjoyed over your home’s network—even when no iPod is connected.
ReQuest’s NetSync for iTunes Macintosh program is compatible with Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard. It can be found bundled with any new ReQuest servers; existing users can download it from the ReQuest website.
