Say you’ve upgraded your audio/video system to a home theater; your house has a multiroom audio system, and all your lights and window coverings are integrated into a home automation system. But what about the bathroom?

Yes, your bathroom should feel luxurious and relaxing—and that means more than just having a few jets in the tub or a cushy seat. What could make that morning shower more relaxing than a high-tech shower system that includes your own iPod music and personalized temperature settings? Enter the RainBrain (I just love the name): RainBrain is a new system from Hansgrohe to make a simple shower a high-tech experience.

The system uses a touchpanel to control features like temperature and water spray style. Different family members can store temp prefences, and the warm up routine automatically flushes out cold water before it has a chance to hit your body. It also connects to your portable music player via Bluetooth to provide cleansing tunes.

If you’re worried about your kids, the RainBrain has an anti-scald feature built in so little ones don’t get par boiled.

It’s available in chrome or white.
