When will the “Star Wars” madness stop? I’ve got a “Star Wars” thermos collecting dust in my kitchen cabinet, but I probably won’t be adding these computer speakers to my collection anytime soon.
They are a bargain, at a mere 40 bucks, but my guess is that for that cost, they aren’t going to satisfy the inner audio geek in anyone. These don’t get me all giddy/geeky, but I do suddenly have a hankering for some Doublemint gum.
The PC speaker set also might not satisfy “Star Wars” fans, since you need to “pop” the top to display the sound. Instead of your favorite little droid, they look more like the end result of a Rock’em Sock’em Robots grudge match.
Crave says they stand a mere 4.72 inches tall, sans head. Order them now in time for the geeks on your gift list.
