Proton Electronic Industrial Co. will introduce three new high-definition LCD televisions that include the company’s exclusive Puriti video enhancement technology next week at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show.
The new P42D4, P37D4, and P32D4 LCD TVs feature 42-, 37- and 32-inch widescreen displays, respectively, 720p resolution, and HDMI inputs. Designed as a core line series of HD models, they boast vivid, accurate colors with pure blacks and whites, true-to-life flesh tones, rich contrasts, and a broad viewing stage.
The sets are also equipped with the sixth generation of Proton’s exclusive Puriti video enhancement technology. Puriti-enhanced LCDs boast a wider color range and a built-in artificial intelligence system, which analyzes color frequencies and intensity to assure natural skin tones and the best blacks by compensating for picture detail lost to poor contrast.
Other features of Puriti processing including converting analog signals to a pure digital format, filtering out noise artifacts, 3-D de-interlacing and edge enhancement capabilities.
