Leading the way this week is Sony’s BDP-CX960 and BDP-CX7000ES Blu-ray megachangers. Both hold up to 400 Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs and come with RS232 for integration with third-party systems.
The units have Gracenote’s MusicID and VideoID software to organize music and movie collections, 1080p upscaling and Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Hi Resolution Audio.
LG Electronics’ LH90 Series of LED LCD TVs are the first to be THX Display Certified, according to LG. The TVs come in 42-, 47- and 55-inch sizes with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, TruMotion 240Hz technology and four HDMI v1.3 inputs with Deep Color.
