Log onto the Xbox Live Video Marketplace, choose a movie, and surprise! Nothing happens. Gamespy says that just days after launching their video download service, some users have reported problems receiving their purchases.
The service says that too many people were downloading, so some of them had a long wait time. In fact, some are still waiting because they never received the downloads at all. The tech team is working on fixing the problems. Until then, you may want to stick to the old-fashioned DVD/TV solution.
In a few cases, users thought they were being charged for free content. Microsoft assures that will not be the case.
Xbox Live plans to issue refunds, in the form of Microsoft Points, where appropriate.
