What can we say about this USB drive? It’s probably not half as interesting as what you can say to this USB drive.

The Voicelok is a new USB flash drive that uses voice recognition as a security measure. Just plug the drive into a computer, wait for the red and green LEDs to flash, and say the magic words into the drive’s on-board microphone.

“Please” probably won’t do it—unless that’s your password, of course.

However, the system doesn’t just respond to what you say, but how you say it. In fact, the company says that a cold or a rough night could even prevent users from unlocking data. Not to worry, though, there’s another way to get in, involving those LEDs.

Having such high security can protect a user involved in a data-sensitive industry or can even prevent identity theft. That type of protection will cost you $49.95 at Hammacher Schlemmer.
