Uniden Combines GPS with Radar Detector

The new MapTrax line will include six models ranging from 3.5 to 4.5 inches.

Don’t let cluelessness slow you down. Uniden is updating the traditional GPS to include radar detection. So when the MapTrax line gets its update, you can find where you are going—and speed all the way there.

Mobile Magazine says that other features will include text-to-speech functions, 2GB of internal map memory, preloaded NAVTEQ maps, and Bluetooth support.

No photos have been released yet (the GPS 402 is pictured), but the company says there will six new models, ranging from 3.5 to 4.5 inches.
